The Flip Video Camcorder coming from Pure Digital is simple to operate straight out of the box.You just install the included AA batteries, press record and you are off and running.

You are able to very easily scroll through your own videos and view or delete them if you’d like. Downloading the video is merely as easy. Flip open the built-in USB connector and plug it straight into your computer.

You can then drag and drop the videos from your camera to your computer or use the built-in software to upload them to the Internet or email them to friends

The innovative new Flip Channels feature enables users to easily share their favorite Flip content with groups of people they designate.

Once created, their personal Flip Channels can be instantly viewed online at FlipShare.com or on any iPhone™ model by using the new FlipShare for iPhone application, available soon.

Currently the built-in software from Pure Digital provides usage of a free (as of this writing) site for sharing videos with family and will upload the content for you.

It is going to also upload automatically to YouTube if that is your thing. I discovered myself toting the camera everywhere I went and delighting my kids’ grandparents with goofy spur-of-the-moment videos.

Because our family video camera utilizes digital video tapes, almost all of our family memories are on little cartridges around the house waiting for me to have the time to copy hours of content. As silly as it appears, the Flip Video camcorder has changed the way in which all of us capture the small times that are fun to remember later.
